Ashay Social came into existence in October 2015 - We are working towards for the care of environment. Spreading awareness about the environmental hazards and how we can make our environment a better one is our motto. We started working on the concept of avoid plastic carry bags and use cloth bags. We initiated this concept by requesting for old sarees, dupattas, blouse pieces for making cloth bags, our team at bhusawal was working tirelessly for achieving this. Till date we have distributed around 15,000 bags to the society free of cost.
Rutu Menstrual Cups
During the pursuance of this cause - Mrs. Seema Khandale came across the concept of Menstrual cups and vast advantages that it had towards personal hygiene as well as the environment after using it and helping the near and dear ones to switch towards it. As on today we together have designed a menstrual cup and named it as RUTU. Keeping in mind the financial lower class women who are not able to visit an online store and purchase the cup we have a user to guide them. Cloth pads are the next suistanable option made available to financial lower class women in the society, we have a team of 4 ladies nearvby who stitches these pads delicately for use. Washing and drying them properly in sunlight makes them hygienically safe. We are trying out new ways to reach to the masses and spread awareness on such topics which will improve the overall helth of women in the society and also protect our environment.
